Painting

 A few weeks ago, Lil G and Smunchie were painting at our kitchen table.  I left for one minute to go to the restroom.  I returned to find....

Loose Teeth

 For those of you who don't know, Lil G is four.  Recently, he came up to me to tell me that one of his teeth was "wiggly". I confirmed that it was indeed lose.

So, to recap--Four years old.  Loose tooth.  Mind blown.

Anyway, about four days later, on November 30th, it came out during breakfast.  Lil G was so excited and reported that it "didn't hurt at all!"  Afterwards, I presented him with his new monster pillow. It has a pocket on the front with teeth, so that the monster can hold the tooth, in preparation for the tooth fairy's visit.  Lil G was pretty excited to see what the tooth fairy would bring.

 The next morning, Lil G ran into our bedroom to show us his loot.  The tooth fairy brought him a sparkly dollar and a new toothbrush, with a receipt left behind for his payment of a tooth.  The receipt specified that Lil G wouldn't always get the same compensation.  He is excited to see what she'll bring next time.


Update- On Friday December 6, Lil G lost ANOTHER tooth!  This time, the tooth fairy brought him a Crazy 8's card game.

Gingerbread Houses

 A couple of weeks ago, Lil G, Smunchie and some friends got together to make mini gingerbread houses.  The kids were so thrilled to work on their projects (and eat their materials).  They all did a great job figuring out different ways to decorate.

Smunchie didn't do a lot of decorating.  She mainly snacked on the graham crackers.

Sushi

Throwback photos again!  Still trying to get caught up.  At the end of August, Greg and I had a Sushi date night in.  The next day, the kiddos wanted to get in on the sushi fun as well.  Lil G was not a fan of the finished product but Smunchie dug right in.

Waterslide fun!

I am STILL trying to get caught up on blogging. So, here we go!

We were able to buy a small playset for the backyard this summer.  The kids LOVE climbing on it and the parents love hanging out in the yard, watching them have fun.  Anyway, where I saw a playset, Greg saw more.  He saw a water playland.  A little PVC pipe and the hose and BAM!  Instawaterslide.
