Pants?

Yesterday, Gavin was hanging out in the corner, playing with his toys. Then he removed his pants, and brought them over to show Greg and I. This was followed by pulling up on the couch, to show us his pantless legs.

On Saturday January 23rd, Gavin got to spend some time with Opa, Gogie and Uncle Andrew. They all had a ball playing together.

Spaghetti Madness

Gavin tried spaghetti for the first time on Friday. He REALLY enjoyed it. He (of course) made quite a mess but got the majority of it in his mouth. He was not really a fan of the meatballs but the noodles and sauce were a major hit!

11 Months Old!

How did the time pass so quickly? I cannot believe that my little peanut, who I held so close to my heart for nine months has now taken over my heart completely. Gavin is changing so much every day. He is so mobile now. He crawls everywhere, using his own special brand of movement (the one-armed commando crawl). A few weeks ago, I noticed that he can sit up easily from his tummy. One day, he just seemed to decide that it would be a good skill to have and just took to it instantly. He also has transitioned to eating mainly finger foods, as opposed to baby food now. His favorite foods are bananas, peaches, clementines and quesadillas.

For this month's pictures, I decided to focus on "morning Gavin". I love our mornings together. He always wakes up ready to explore and play. It's as though he has been dreaming of what do things to try out all night. So, enjoy pictures of Gavin early in the morning, playing with his Gloworm, Duke.

We're currently working to figure out how to gate Gavin into the family room. Right now, we have a gate propped between the end tables.

Extended family

We had a great time this last weekend with the Fish side of the family. All the cousins and uncles came to visit, most of whom had never met Gavin. Needless to say, Lil G was the center of attention for much of the visit ;-) He spend a lot of time rolling on the floor with his Great Uncle Vern and playing with Great Grandma Fish's walker.
