Sweet little Smunchie

Smunchie has been growing like a weed lately,  She is fully in 18 month clothes now and she has SIX teeth!  She also has enough hair to actually support a bow!  She stands quite well and is getting close to walking.  She very much enjoys standing and trying to go through cabinets.

Here she is, in her new outfit from her Uncle Rodger and soon-to-be-Aunt Sarah.   She is also wearing a bracelet that I (Erin) wore as a baby.

Helicopter Hi-jinx

 Uncle Rodger came to visit for Lil G's birthday.  He brought Lil's G's favorite toy....his remote controlled helicopter!  Lil G loves watching his uncle fly the helicopter in our house and REALLY loves when they take it outside to zoom.  Such a sweet bond.  

Christmas 2012- Part 1

Today, we got to spend time with the White side of the family, in order to celebrate the holidays.  The holiday was special for two reasons: 1.) It is Smunchie's first Christmas and 2.) It is the first Christmas that Uncle Rodger is engaged! We are so happy and blessed to be welcoming Sarah into our family.  Lil G and Smunchie were pretty excited for the Christmas festivities, including the much anticipated visit from Uncle Pooh.  We had good food, good fun and PRESENTS!  What more could you ask for?

 Lil G got a Luchador mask for Christmas, from Uncle Rodger and Sarah.  He looks pretty good, huh?

Weekend Highlights

This weekend, we spent Thanksgiving with my brother and his girlfriend.  We all had a great time.  Unfortunately, I forgot to take many pictures.  But, hopefully, my dad will get me some at some point!  :-)

 Playing "Cootie"

Last weekend, Uncle Rodger and his girlfriend, Sarah, came to visit.  Lil G was so excited!  He kept checking the front door every few minutes, to see if they had arrived.

 A couple of weeks ago, we were blessed to have my brother, Rodger and his girlfriend, Sarah, come for a visit. We love when they come because 1.) they are super cool people and 2.) they greatly entertain our children.  Truthfully, Lil G cannot get enough of his uncle.  As soon as they left on Sunday, he told me that on his next sticker chart, he is earning a trip to "cago" (aka- Chicago), and that it wouldn't be too much trouble for me, as my only job would be installing the carseat in "Rodger and Sarah's car".

Papa's Birthday

 This weekend, we were able to spend some quality time with Papa and Tutu (Erin's parents), in order to celebrate Papa's birthday.  We spent pretty much the whole day outside on Papa and Tutu's new deck.  The best part was that Uncle Rodger and his girlfriend, Sarah, were down for a visit!  Lil G and Smunchie LOVE Uncle Rodger and they were super excited to play.

 Papa and Tutu got Lil G a light-up magnifier.  He was investigating EVERYTHING- leaves, the chairs, the grass, the deck.  Here, he is checking out some mushrooms.

 Rodger and Sarah brought a game of bags and Lil G had some pretty good success at getting the bags into the hole.

At some point in the afternoon, playing in the sprinklers turned into spraying each other with the hose.  Clearly, Lil G has pretty good aim.

Quiet time

 During the parent's continual illness for many days last week, Lil G spent a lot of time playing quietly with his new toys from his birthday.  One of his favorites was his new LightBright from his Uncle Rodger.  He needs quite a lot of help right now to get the pegs in correctly but he is so proud of all of his creations!

White Family Christmas

 After our Christmas at home, we all headed over to have Christmas with the White side of the family:  James (Papa), Brenda (Tutu), Uncle Rodger, and Glenn (Uncle Pooh).  

Lil G had a blast checking out Uncle Pooh's new flashlight.  He actually seemed to understand it's inner workings before Glenn!
