Super G

 This last weekend, Lil G got a fabulous gift from his Papa and Tutu: a cape!  He was so excited to run all around the house, proudly proclaiming his superhero status.

Today, Lil G asked, once again, for mama to help him build a marble maze that was "as tall as him".  I am actually pretty proud of the finished product, as I pretty much suck at making these things!

Goofy siblings

 On Monday, the kids were having a great time playing together.  I grabbed the camera and snapped some photos.  I adore how much Lil G loves his sister.  And, she can't get enough of him!  Smunchie gets the biggest, goofiest smiles when her big brother is around.

Playtime

Smunchie has become so expressive lately.  She loves to have floor time (particularly if naked) and is getting close to sitting up.  It is so fun watching her learn to manipulate new things!

Marble Maze Fun

Rain Walk

 Yesterday, we had a wonderful late afternoon thunderstorm- perfect for a rain walk!  Lil G was so excited to see the rain when he woke up from his nap, so mama took him outside to wander around, looking at worms and jumping in puddles.  We even got to hear some thunder!  It is so lovely to be able to share these precious moments with each other, every day and to be able to see the world through a child's eyes.

Magnetic Men

 Lil G has always enjoyed dressing up his Melissa and Doug wooden dolls.  He was so excited when he got three more from his Great Grandma!  He did a great job of pairing up the outfits in the correct order.

Open Gym

Yesterday it was once again cold and "blah" around here.  So, Lil G and I headed to the local gymnastics place, to run off some energy during open gym.  We had not been to this particular gym for about a year, so he was pretty excited to see all the things to play on. 

He was pretty bummed when open gym was over, though.  He kept telling me, "It so sad that they are closing".  Next time, buddy.  Next time.

 It is pretty hard to get an action shot but here he is jumping off a giant block onto the trampoline.

Ok, first of all, I know that the video is sideways but it is a flaw on my camera phone.  Once I upgrade, hopefully, it will stop.  So, no snarky comments (ahem--Rodger).

Lil G loves "Go Diego Go" AND he loves dancing.  So, it was only natural for the two to come together.

Little Fort Builders

On Sunday, mama came home from a cookie exchange to find a bee-u-tee-ful fort constructed in the living room. Unfortunately, most of the pictures didn't turn out!  But, you can see that dada is laying down on the couch whilst Lil G climbs in and out and in again.  They had a blast!

Autumn fun

There is a lovely place, near our home, of which many people are unaware. It houses wonderful play areas for children. We visited just a couple of weeks ago, with our friends, the P family. Lil G had a great time playing with his friends. Mama and dada had a great time relaxing and enjoying the outdoors.

TatoHeads

Lil G is in love with playing with "TatoHeads". That's Mr. and Mrs. Potatohead to everyone else. Many times, when mama comes downstairs and lil man has been playing with dada, there is an entire squadron of Tatoheads, all ready for the day.

Da mama loves Tatoheads too, as they 1.) are cute 2.) are lovable 3.) build manual dexterity.

Trains, trains, trains!

Recently, G has become very interested in his train track. He does a pretty good job, too! He needs help every once in awhile but mainly, he works independently.

Summer Fun

This weekend, we took Lil G to the splash park. He is such a little fish! He loves the water. And, he loves giving mama very wet hugs after running through the sprinklers.

He is such a blessing in our lives!



















After some splashing, Lil G jumped on his trampoline while daddy cooked dinner. He has such a great time bouncing up and down!
