Gavin Glenn's namesake, Glenn, came for a rare summertime visit. They have such a great time together. They are really two peas in a pod.

Father's Day

Father's day was a lovely affair in the fish house. Gavin gave daddy some sentimental presents, including a candy jar for work that he helped decorate and a new book to read together.

This weekend, we also celebrated father's day with Erin's side of the family. We went out to eat with the whole crew, including Uncle Pooh, who came up to visit from Texas. Then, Poppa (James) opened his gifts, with a little assistance from Gavin. Here are the highlights.

Random June Photos

It's summertime! That means that a lot of the time, Gavin cruises around in just a diaper or a diaper and t-shirt. Gavin is changing every day. His personality is exploding. He is outgoing and cheery and full of mischief. He can high-five and he loves to blow raspberries on people. He can use a spoon and fork (mostly) and is starting to run. He is quite a little man.

Gavin's favorite new toy is a large sterlite tub. He loves crawling into it and putting his toys in it to shove it around the room.

Gavin made special gifts for his grandmothers. He made a plaque for his Tutu and a flowerpot for his Gogie. Here he is admiring his fine craftsmanship.

Every day, after I put Gavin's shoes on him, he helpfully "fixes" them for me. He seems to think that the straps should be criss-crossed.

Oops!

Gavin had a tumble today. He fell down the front steps at a friend's house. He got a couple of cuts on his forehead and a scrape on his head. He was a trooper though and only cried for a bit. He looks so cute with his little band-aids....though it makes my heart break every time I see his poor bunged up head!
